Modern Lighing for Textured walls

Stratus Wall Grazer

Textured walls, especially in bathrooms, commercial builds and entryways, are gaining in popularity, edging out standard tiles  when designers want a warm, varied and modern look. But the effect depends strongly on  appropriate lighting. Getting an even glow across a wall of stacked river rock can challenge even the most experience lighting expert, and require a significant mix of overhead, up lighting, down lighting and lamps to achieve.

The problem lies in being able to distribute light evenly, avoiding sections of deep, dark crevasses, a look more appropriate to Dracula's lair than a modern home. And a new lighting design, the Stratus Wall Grazer by Pure Lighting, promises to be the solution.

The Stratus Linear Wall Grazer offers dramatic, energy efficient lighting for textured walls by uniformly illuminating vertical surfaces with either cool or warm white LED’s. Mounted in the ceiling or on the surface behind a cove, the Stratus system evenly covers up to a 30’ wall down to the floor. With an 8º x 160º beam, the Stratus system leaves no visible dark spots, even when mounted six inches from the wall’s end.

More information about the Stratus Linear Wall Grazer lighting system as well as other Pure Lighting products can be found at www.purelighting.com or call 773-770-1195.
