Pelli Chosen for Science Center
Renowned architect, Cesar Pelli, was selected from a short list of international powerhouses to create the $150m Hartford Science Center. Pelli's goal is to create a versatile structure that will house galleries and exhibits -- while providing a landmark on the capital city's waterscape. Pelli's prior homeruns include the jewels on the Hudson -- the Winter Garden, part of the World Financial Center complex, and Two IFC on Victoria Harbour in Hong Kong.
