When Buying Vintage Lucite ....
The New York Times writer Rick Marin chronicles his modern antiquing trip in Miami -- and gets this tidbit from dealer Gustavo Olivieri who specializes in vintage Lucite: avoid the milky-white kind and look for clear with the fewest scratches, because they are almost impossible to remove. And thick: three-quarters of an inch or more.
