He's offset nature's playful shapes and random beauty with elegant, sculptural and restrained outdoor furniture for over 50 years. Still, Schultz continues to explore materials and design to create comfortable, balanced forms that are weatherproof.

He's the man behind Knoll's classic Leisure Collection, available, with many others, as the 1966 Collection through Schultz's own company, which he started with his son Peter.
