Good News About the Pentagon
No, we're not refering to the U.S. Department of Defense. There's still trouble brewing there. But apparently the best qualities of the 5-sided structure were lifted by concept designer Tobias Wong and Danish-born designer Niels Bendtsen to create this 1970s-style conversation pit.
The sectional is manufacturerd by Bendtsen's Vancouver-based company. And, in case you geometry buffs are measuring, that is a 108-degree angle.

Comment on This Article Here! Good News About the Pentagon:
This is a great shape- but who wants to be trapped in the Pentagon? The image makes for an interesting visual, which is to say it's still a bit impractical. In real life, we see this piece set up with spaces between each section for easy access. Climbing over the back just wouldn't work for everyone.

its a sectional. the complete pentagonal shape is only a conceptual starting point to invited others to configure their own sofas using the new 108 corner units...
