Design Underfoot
Today I'm trolling the best of the best in online design for one highly persnickety and discerning client. She has definite ideas about what works and what absolutely will not. She demands quality, comfort and durability. She expects a warm, inviting look that can be lived in, not tip-toed around. She wants a good deal, and today she is focused on one particular item, a rug.
The rug must be dark, a brown perhaps, maybe a deep, old-penny-copper. it could be textured, monochromatic or have subtle variations or graphic print.
I think I'll know it when I see it, but I already have some ideas...

Roses by Nani Marquina is another great pick in brown or even gray. It's also 100% dyed felt wool and retails for about $3,000 and up.
