More Honeycombed Furniture

EasterhoneycombdecorationSo_stool_group_002_rgb_w While researching honeycombed cardboard furniture, I found an interesting company out of Canada that works not only with cardboard -- but also with textiles and paper. Molo Designs is a Vancouver-based product design company that captures the imagination of two architects, Stephanie Forsythe and Todd MacAllen.

The two have taken a concept best known for decorations and turned it into an entire collection of furniture and movable walls.Honeycomb One of the interesting characteristics of honeycombed cardboard is that the edges start to crush, creating an interesting effect.

The "soft walls," as the Molo folks call them, are made of polyethylene , which allows light to still pass through. 06_so_swps6w_006_rgb_w
