Ceramic Tiles of Italy is poised to make a splash at upcoming tradeshows.

At the Milan Furniture Fair, i Salone (April 22-27)Ceramic Tiles of Italy will return to the Triennale to present an exhibition entitled "Ceramic Tiles of Italy: A Natural Beauty." Developed in conjunction with their new sustainably-focused ad campaign, the exhibit will feature an Italian garden. This natural setting is meant to highlight the importance that the Italian tile industry has always given to the environmental and social aspects of sustainability and to use Italian design to transform products into creative, original and eco-friendly projects. Individual Italian ceramic tile manufacturers will also launch new products at exhibits throughout the city.

At ICFF in NYC, Ceramic Tiles of Italy is pulling out all the stops to make their first major showing at ICFF a smashing success. To start, the Italian Trade Commission and Confindustria Ceramica commissioned iconic Italian architect Michele De Lucchi to design their pavilion. It will include exhibits from thirteen tile producers including: Del Conca, Impronta, Settecento Valtresinaro, Refin, Lea, Etruria Design, Tagina, Sant'Agostino, Lord, Marazzi, Casalgrande Padana, Fap and Caesar. The pavilion will be filled with color, innovation and an array of new products. In addition, Ceramic Tiles of Italy will host a series of events at the show and in the Meatpacking District.

The images above clockwise are: Refin's Eco-Leader Fogie, Streets by LEA, FAP's Rubacuori, Relax by Lord and Impronta's Sands.

Rock your walls

PT For me, choosing a wall color is akin to Chinese water torture. So many choices, what goes with what, will it flow with the rest of my home... The vicious cycle continues. The solution -- paint the walls white. I know, it sounds drab. Until you punch it up with colorful artwork.

Check out the original digital art from Paul Thatcher.

Before the computer revolution came the British Invasion. It was at this very time that the mutant rock star gene awoke in Paul. Playing guitar since seventh grade, he has absorbed a lifetime of music. By shifting digital ones and zeros across the screen beyond recognition, he has developed a technique for transforming the ordinary into extraordinary.
