Stash Can
I few months ago I spent a small fortune on this sleek, tubular, very attractive stainless steel garbage can -- and it has been the bane of my existence ever since (not to mention the cause of several spats between my husband and I). Because of it's shape, it holds next to nothing. When you remove the bag (after prying open the latches that secure it) it tears due to the inner springs. And then there is the issue of the stainless steel and the lovely fingerprints.
The arrival of the Stash Can from quirky earlier this month has made my life easier. The community developed trash can is designed to ease everyday kitchen hassle and minimize mess. The StashCan accomplishes this through its built in storage compartment that holds a supply of trash bags.
The Stash Can is the seventeenth product designed and developed by the quirky community since quirky’s launch on June 2nd. quirky gives everyone the chance to get product ideas out of their heads and onto shelves.

If you haven't checked out quirky -- do so. These are the bleeding edge of ideas -- and the reader has the ability to throw (monetary) support behind taking an idea -- and making it reality. Kudos to the gang at quirky. -- diane
