The Buzziskin 3D Tile
Recently nominated for Interior Design Magazine’s Best of Year Awards (BoY) as an Eco Product are the Buzziskin 3D Tiles. Not unlike their parent company by the name of Buzzispace, this brand new 3D tile infuses vibrant colors into a self-adhering, upcycled PET-waste product that brightens up an office space.

TROVE Debuts Marquee & Talks to PC
TROVE glammed up ICFF this weekend with the debut of Marquee, its glass bead embossed papers. The Marquee treatment is an option for any of TROVE's existing designs, and once you've seen it, you'll want it.
It's shiny, elegant and even tough. This wall covering is commercial-grade 2 ply, ready to stand up to just about anything.
The designs TROVE comes up with continue to amaze us, so naturally, We had some questions for TROVE founders Jee Levin and Randall Buck. Here's what they had to say...Posted on May 19, 2010 Permalink | Discuss Design! (0) | TrackBack

Modern wall coverings
Frost is Chilewich's latest, just unveiled at ICFF. It's shown here as a floor covering but it's also meant for walls. A great solution for stairwells, where paint and wallpaper are oft touched and dirtied. This is about as easy to clean as it gets.
See more of Chilewich's newest patterns.

Recycled Modern Wallpaper- Made from Newspapers
Spring 2010 brings a noteworthy debut from designer Lori Weitzner, up-cycled wallpaper.
We've seen newspapers and magazines become bowls, containers and wall art, but this is a new one. Lori's turned her old news into Noteworthy, the wallpaper you may have once read. The old news is woven on a loom and paper backed to create a colorful, tactile alternative to grasscloth.
Check it out...

Pretty, pretty florals
Spring is almost here -- I swear. It's currently sunny, 34 degrees, and I actually heard birds chirping today! However, the lack of lush greens and blooms leaves me lacking... These help a bit!

Modern Herringbone Tile
Walker Zanger's Zapala Collection. Crafted from dolomitic limestone, its warm palette features a subtle blend of tan, taupe and khaki laced with
ribbons of caramel. This tile would complement pretty much any room in any style, including Modern, Transitional, Zen and Spa.
It's available in herringbone (which we love), mini-planking and three-by-four-inch mosaics.

Custom Wall Coverings
I'm not one for wallpaper but for those whom are hooked on covering walls, I can't help but believe the options from Alluminaire will satisfy.
The Atlanta, Georgia based company provides custom lighting, wall coverings and pillows. How custom? custom enough that you can pick a color and a color wave, and if that isn't custom enough, submit an original design. We opted for Pure Contemporary's colors on this modern print.
According to the testimonials on the site, the colors on the screen are nearly dead matches for the final product. This is a bit surprising, given that screen colors are made up of Red, Green, Blue while printing colors are made up of Cyan, Yellow, Magenta. Color mapping software certainly exists, and kudos to the technical team if they have mapped the palettes so precisely.
